The Ecocapsule.

A tiny house built to be completely off-grid, the new micro-shelter known as the Ecocapsule will contain solar and wind power, and a rainwater collection and filtration system. Being built by Bratislava’s Nice Architects, a prototype will be available later this month, and sales are projected to begin within the year.

With only 86 square feet of usable floorspace, this is an easily-transportable structure which is being advertised as a tiny house – with a toilet, shower, small kitchen, dining area, and folding bed included – but can also be used as a spare bedroom or office.

Exact details on how the various sustainable technologies will be integrated, and pricing are not yet available.
